Hello! My name is Zyrish Quierrez. I'm doing this campaign to help a local animal shelter in my province. Orange Home Family is an Animal Rehabilitation Shelter and Sanctuary located in Silang, Cavite Philippines. The shelter currently houses 70 dogs and 55 cats, all of which are rescued animals (stray, abandoned, rescued from the pound). I've learned about this shelter through a friend of mine, who is personally affiliated with the owners of the shelter.

 

Orange Home relies mainly on the owners' personal funds to maintain their shelter, since sometimes, months will pass without them receiving any donations. They have 4 salaried employees, plus the 2 owners, who act as the caretakers of the shelter. With over a hundred animals that they're caring for, the shelter needs at least $1700 every month for dog and cat food, vet bills, lot rental, utilities and other necessities to take care of the animals. Orange Home hopes to improve and upgrade their facilities, but since they're only renting the property, they can't really do any sort of renovations. They are currently renting a 340 sqm property in Silang, Cavite but will soon be moving to a 2,000 sqm in Tuy, Batangas (which will also be a rental) since their family of cats and dogs are getting bigger.

 

I hope to be able to raise the funds by December to give the animals (and the staff) a very Merry Christmas! Any amount will be a huge help for the shelter and I hope you can find it in your heart to help these fur babies!
